Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and DosePlot LLC ("DosePlot," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the DosePlot mobile and web applications and doseplot.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Most important thing first: DosePlot is not medical advice

DosePlot is an educational and informational tracking and planning tool only. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using it does not create a doctor-patient or provider relationship of any kind.

  • Nothing in the Service — including compound information, pharmacokinetic ("PK") charts and estimates, the reconstitution calculator, reminders, or the AI assistant — is a recommendation to use, purchase, dose, or administer any substance.
  • The blood-level charts are theoretical estimates produced from population-average models and the values you enter. They are not measurements of your body and can differ substantially from your actual levels.
  • Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any compound, protocol, medication, or health regimen. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately; do not rely on the Service.

You use the Service to organize your own information and to prepare informed questions for your healthcare provider — not to replace professional medical care.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18.

3. What the Service is (and is not)

DosePlot lets you build and track protocols, log doses, model estimated levels, reconstitute, rotate injection sites, track bloodwork and inventory, and use an optional AI assistant. The Service:

  • is a calculator, tracker, planner, and visualizer that operates on information you provide;
  • is not a pharmacy, a prescriber, a source or seller of any substance, a medical device, a clinical decision-support system, or a substitute for laboratory testing or medical care.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You are solely responsible for your own decisions and conduct. You agree that:

  • You will comply with all laws that apply to you. The legal status of compounds discussed in the Service varies by country, state, and jurisdiction. You will use the Service only to track substances that are legally prescribed to you and/or legally obtained in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for verifying everything. You will independently verify any number, calculation, or statement before relying on it, and you will not act on anything in the Service without the approval of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • You will provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
  • You will not use the Service to facilitate, encourage, or carry out any illegal activity, to harm yourself or others, to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service, to access it through automated means beyond any published API, or to violate the rights of others.

DosePlot does not encourage, condone, or facilitate illegal activity and makes no representation that any compound is legal, safe, or appropriate for you in your location.

5. The AI assistant

If you use the optional AI assistant, you additionally acknowledge:

  • It is informational only and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unsafe output. It is not medical advice and will not prescribe or recommend a protocol for you personally.
  • Any change it proposes is staged for your explicit approval — nothing is applied to your data unless you confirm it. You are responsible for what you approve and apply.
  • Depending on your tier, requests are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) or, if you use bring-your-own-key, by the provider you choose under that provider's terms. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and the in-app data-access toggle.

6. Accounts

Some features require a free account; the web app requires one, and on the mobile apps you may use a guest mode without an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. One person may not maintain accounts to abuse trials or tier limits.

7. Subscriptions, trials, and payments

  • Free tier and trials. Core features are free. We may offer a free trial of paid features. Trial terms (length, what unlocks, what happens at the end) are presented to you at sign-up.
  • Paid subscriptions. Paid tiers (for example, Premium and Premium+) are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions. In the mobile apps they are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and charged to your store account; in the web app they are sold through Stripe, our payment processor, and charged to the payment method you provide at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You manage or cancel store purchases in your Apple/Google account settings, and web purchases through the billing portal linked from Settings in the web app.
  • Billing and refunds.For store purchases, billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; refunds, where available, are governed by the applicable store's policy. For web purchases, billing is handled by Stripe on our behalf; contact us at support@doseplot.com for refund requests, which we honor as required by applicable law.
  • Price and plan changes may occur on a prospective basis with notice as required by the stores and applicable law.

We do not receive or store your payment-card details: store purchases are processed by Apple/Google, and web purchases are processed by Stripe, which collects your payment details directly on its own hosted checkout pages.

8. Your content and data

  • You own the information you enter. You grant DosePlot a limited license to host, process, encrypt, sync, and display that information solely to provide the Service to you, and to operate features you invoke (such as the AI assistant).
  • Share codes. If you generate a protocol share code, you are choosing to make that protocol structure shareable; you are responsible for how you distribute it.
  • Our handling of your information, including encryption and deletion, is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the software, design, text, compound database compilation, charts, and DosePlot marks — is owned by DosePlot LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

10. Assumption of risk

You understand and accept that decisions about compounds, medications, and protocols carry serious risks, including risks of serious injury, illness, or death, and that individual responses vary widely.You voluntarily assume all risk arising from your own decisions and your use of the Service, and you agree that DosePlot is not responsible for those decisions or their outcomes. The Service's estimates and information do not reduce these risks.

11. Disclaimers of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. DOSEPLOT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION, CALCULATION, OR ESTIMATE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOU. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOSEPLOT LLC AND ITS MEMBER(S), OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR — TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW — ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR HEALTH OUTCOME, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOSEPLOT'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DOSEPLOT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DosePlot LLC and its member(s) and personnel from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your decisions, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 1, 4, 8–13, and 15) survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to venue there.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice as appropriate (for example, in-app). Your continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and DosePlot regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • Apple/Google.Where you obtain the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store's terms also apply, and the store providers are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them; the stores are not responsible for the Service or any support.
